Thank you for building a community of writers with us! Together, we raised over $70,000 at Pros&Conversation 2016 to support WriteBoston’s programs for students and teachers. On April 7, we welcomed authors Tracy Kidder, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Mountains Beyond Mountains; Danielle Legros Georges, Haitian-American essayist, translator and Poet Laureate of the City of Boston; Nina MacLaughlin, former Boston Phoenix editor & author of Hammer Head: The Making of a Carpenter; and Abigail Thomas, author of NYT best-selling memoir A Three Dog Life, for a discussion of writing with Teens in Print student writers.
