With the exception of 'Sandwich Rap', this project has been carried out in
cooperation with Comma Press, the lively and innovative not-for-profit
publishers based in Manchester, UK.  Comma commission short films or
animations based on poems in their collection, and the current list of film
and poetry projects contains poems from Gaia Holmes, Ed Barton, Chris
Woods, Julian Daniel, John Cooper Clarke, Joolz Denby and Mike Garry,
with films and animations from Charlotte Caetano, Mark Haig, Fiona
Collins, Sharon Keighly, Lisa Risbec and Kate Jessop.

The student activities have been designed with teenagers and young
adults in mind, and are suitable for language learners and native
speakers alike.  Each set of activities consists of some vital pre-listening
and pre-watching work and there are also some activities to engage in
after the film has been seen and the poem listened to.  There is a
teacher's key and notes for each set of activities.
